Coast Guard Search Suspended for Missing 35-Year-Old Man

The U.S. Coast Guard has suspended its search for a 35-year-old man who went overboard.

The man was reported missing after he fell from a boat on May 29, 2023, in the waters off the southern California coast. The Coast Guard launched a search mission immediately upon receiving the report but was unable to locate the man.

"We extend our deepest condolences to the man's family and friends during this difficult time," said Coast Guard Commander William Stover. "We will continue to provide updates as they become available."

The Coast Guard is urging anyone with information about the man's whereabouts to contact the Coast Guard Sector Los Angeles-Long Beach Command Center at (562) 427-3700.
